Established in 1985
Dr. David Horne started Companion Animal Hospital after graduating from U.C. Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1977 and working in the Santa Cruz area for several years. He has enjoyed growing the practice over the years and now offers veterinary services seven days a week, expanding the team of professional staff within a modern, clean, welcoming facility. Companion Animal Hospital won the GOLD (First Place) AWARD for Best Veterinary Hospital in the Santa Cruz region! This contest is organized by the Santa Cruz Weekly and open to all Santa Cruz area residents.
CAH has grown because of our sincere commitment, dedication and hard work which ensured that we were able to fully satisfy our clients with our high quality pet health services. We have a qualified team to handle all of your dog and cat's veterinary needs.
In January 2012, we became the first and only animal hospital in the Santa Cruz area to be Diamond Certified. This means that we have been independently rated highest in quality based on customer surverys.
